Raw paste. If you formulate or repackage, black soap paste is sold in bulk by the pound, starting at $6.00 a pound for 5 LBS and falling as the block gets larger. Pure African black soap in bulk runs from $4.00 a pound.

What it is. Traditional black soap is made from plantain skin and cocoa pod ash with palm and coconut oils. It is genuinely soft, cleans without stripping, and is the product African-heritage customers most often come in asking for by name.
