How it is priced. Almost everything is sold by the case, most commonly 12, 72 or 144 pieces, and the per-unit price falls at each step. A 12-piece case of 3 oz creamy shea starts at $24.00, which is $2.00 a jar; the same product at 144 pieces brings the unit cost well below that. Every product page shows both the case price and the per-unit price so you can work your margin without a calculator.
