White or yellow. Both are unrefined and come from the same nut. Yellow takes its colour from borututu root added during traditional processing and carries a stronger nutty scent. White is milder and blends more cleanly into a formulation, which is why most private-label makers start there. Neither is refined, bleached or deodorised.

Raw or creamy. Raw bulk arrives as it left the press, firm and grainy, and is what you want if you are melting, whipping or formulating. Creamy and chunky jars are already worked to a spreadable texture and are meant to go straight on a shelf.

How the pricing works. Bulk is priced by the pound and the rate falls as the block gets bigger, from $5.50 a pound at 5 LBS down toward $4.50 at the top of the ladder. Packaged jars are sold by the case, typically 12, 72 or 144 pieces, with the per-unit price dropping at each step. Both prices are shown on every product page.

Orders start at $50, freight is free over $1,000, and mixed SKUs count toward that.
